During January 2020 we carried out some repair work to the guttering on a warehouse and office roof in Hove, West Sussex.
The original steel gutters to both sides of the building were rusting and leaking in places.
We fitted a new flexible Firestone gutter liner complete with new stop-ends and outlets to a total length of approximately 84 linear metres (2 no. gutters).
The original flashings where the gutter met the internal parapet wall were also causing problems as they were flat and water pooled on them before seeping inside.
New purpose manufactured angled flashings were fitted along with new flat plate flashing to the inside of the parapet wall to ensure the area was effectively sealed.
