During May 2024, we carried out an over-roofing to 2 no. slopes of a warehouse roof in Newhaven, East Sussex.
The original steel roof was completely rusted away in a number of areas, particularly the lap between the steel sheet and the rooflights which were also in poor condition.
The client requested an over-roofing system to the 2 no. worst condition slopes which also covered over the rooflights.
The roof was covered with a supporting grid, new insulation and new single skin plastisol coated steel sheeting. The roof was finished with new plastisol coated steel flashings.
The first 3 no. pictures show the new roof. The 4th and 5th pictures show the old rusty roof.
