During July 2024, we carried out work to a warehouse and stores roof in Chichester, West Sussex that was being converted to a workshop.
The existing translucent roof sheets had reached the end of their life and a couple of them were broken and letting in large quantities of water.
The 16 no. old translucent rooflights were therefore replaced with new translucent roof sheets which increased natural daylight within the building as well as curing a number of leaks.
8 no. overlay sheets were also fitted to cover over cracked/damaged sheets.
All of the new sheets were secured using new fixings.
The rear of the roof was below trees and so we cleaned the old needles off of the roof.
The steel gable flashings were poorly fixed and so we fixed these into the main purlins with new fixings.
We removed an old gutter and fitted a new large capacity half round gutter complete with all necessary brackets, connectors, stop-ends and outlets.
We also fitted 2 no. new down-pipes.
