During March and April 2024, we carried out an over-roofing to a Warehouse and office roof in Hailsham, East Sussex.
The original steel roof was rusting badly at the sheet end laps and was leaking in a number of areas.
Another contractor had changed the rooflights and tried doing remedial repairs but this had made the problems worse and the unit had over 20 no. separate leaks.
We therefore recommended over-roofing the roof.
After fixing the grid system, new insulation and new single skin plastisol coated steel sheeting and translucent rooflights were fitted.
The roof was finished off with new purpose manufactured gable, eaves and ridge flashings.
