In July 2021 we carried out a felting contract on the office roof of a company in Redhill, Surrey.
The roof was a rusting steel roof with hardly any fall and whilst we recommended treating the whole roof the client just wanted to treat the area of the roof that was leaking.
The roof was prepared and plywood decking was fitted to provide a sound flat base for the felt.
A layer of 3B felt and 2 no. layers of high-performance polyester based elastomeric roofing felt were fitted to ensure the roof is water-tight.
The top sheet is finished in Grey mineral.
