During September 2024, we carried out work to 2 no. roofs in Bookham Surrey. One roof was a warehouse and the other an office and workshop.
The existing translucent roof sheets had reached the end of their life and leaks were occurring in various areas.
The roof was cleaned down of the moss that was growing on it which was preventing water draining down the roof effectively.
The 38 no. old translucent rooflights were therefore replaced with new white tinted translucent roof sheets which increased natural daylight within the building whilst reducing glare and solar gain compared to clear rooflights
10 no. overlay sheets were also fitted to cover over damaged sheets and where 4 no. redundant pipes were removed.
All of the new sheets were secured using new fixings.
