During March 2026 we carried out repairs to a roof in Kingsnorth, Ashford, Kent.
The outer skin of the translucent roof sheets had reached the end of their life, holes were apparent in the sheets, and natural light was severely reduced.
We therefore replaced 38 no. old outer skin rooflights with new matching profile white tinted roof sheets which increased natural daylight within the building, whilst helping to reduce solar gain and glare when compared to translucent sheets.
2 No. pipes that penetrate the roof surface and an area where a repair has been carried out previously had new flashings fitted to ensure they were water-tight.
We also cleaned the gutters and fitted new foam fillers to the ridges.
The 1st picture shows and example of the new and old rooflights.
