During August 2024, we carried out work to a Warehouse roof in Grays, Essex where the rooflights had perished and the valley gutter was leaking.
The existing translucent roof sheets had long since reached the end of their life and natural daylight transmission had been severely reduced.
The 40 no. old translucent rooflights were therefore replaced with new white tinted translucent roof sheets which increased natural daylight within the building as well as curing a number of leaks.
We fitted white tinted rooflights as this helps to reduce glare and solar gain whilst still letting through good levels of natural light.
All of the new sheets were secured using new fixings.
To cure the gutter leaks we fitted a new flexible Firestone gutter liner complete with new outlets to a total length of approximately 30 linear metres.
