We were contacted by the landlord to carry out some repairs to a profiled steel roof in Goring-by sea, West Sussex.
We were informed that leaks occurred around 1 no. vent and 2 no. redundant flues in the warehouse roof.
We therefore removed the redundant flues and the original flashings.
Supplied and fitted new purpose manufactured “ski-slope” flashings complete with all necessary fixings and sealants to effectively cover the profile of the sheets to prevent water build up behind the vents.
In conjunction new upstand flashings at the front of the vent and new flashings along the side were fitted to ensure the area is effectively sealed.
Where the vents were removed capping flashings were fitted to cover over the holes.
The 1st 2 no. pictures show where 1 no. of the vents has been removed with the other 2 no. pictures showing how it was before.
