During November 2018 we carried out some repair work at a workshop in Goring by Sea, Worthing, West Sussex.
The moss was removed from the roof and the gutters cleaned out. The waste was lowered to ground level and removed from site.
30 no. old translucent rooflights were replaced with new factory assembled box section translucent roof sheets which increased natural daylight within the buildings as well as curing a number of leaks and helping to prevent condensation.
To cover over damaged and cracked sheets a number of matching profile overlay sheets were fitted.
New ski-slope flashings and rubberised pipe flashings were fitted to ensure all the roof penetrations were sealed.
The first 2 no. pictures show the roof after and before the repairs. The 3rd picture shows the difference in light transmission of a replaced rooflight.
