During February and March 2025, we carried out repair work to a bakery and Office roof in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex.
The steel gutters had completely rusted through and were in danger of falling. We removed these and replaced them with large capacity half round guttering which will last longer as they won’t corrode.
5 no. old translucent rooflights were removed and replaced with new matching profile translucent roof sheets to ensure the area was water-tight. The rooflights had a white tint applied so that they let in natural light but reduced the glare and solar gain internally.
The new rooflights were secured using new fixings.
A heater pipe was flashed in and a rubberised flashing fitted.
