During September 2023, we carried out an over-roofing to a factory roof in Littlehampton West Sussex.
The original steel roof was leaking in a number of areas as the roof was very badly rusted.
We therefore recommended an over-roofing system with a new gutter liner to one of the gutters.
The roof was covered with a supporting grid, new insulation and new single skin plastisol coated steel sheeting, this included new rooflights over the original rooflights.
Due to the amount of pipes that penetrated the roof surface a lot of new plastisol coated steel flashings and rubberised pipe flashings were fitted.
We then fitted new flexible Firestone gutter liner to a total length of approximately 25 linear metres (1 no. gutter).
The first 3 no. pictures show the new roof and guttering. The 4th and 5th pictures show the very poor condition of the original roof.
