During February 2020 we carried out some repair work to an Industrial unit roof in Sayers Common, Hassocks, West Sussex.
The valley gutter was leaking and so we fitted a new flexible Firestone gutter liner complete with new stop-ends and outlets to a total length of approximately 31 linear metres.
The 1st two pictures show the lined valley gutter with the 3rd and 4th showing how it was originally.
Additional leaks occurred on the roof particularly around the rooflights, we, therefore, removed the original fixings which weren’t suitable for rooflights and fitted new precision formed fixings.
The eaves guttering just had 1 no. outlet to each gutter run and so we fitted 2 no. new outlets complete with new down-pipes to discharge the water.
Fitting a flashing over a rusty area on the roof and securing the existing down-pipes with new brackets completed the contract.
