During October and November 2021, we carried out an over-roofing to an office and warehouse roof in Laindon, Essex.
The original steel roof was leaking in a number of areas, particularly around the rooflights.
We therefore recommended an over-roofing system.
The roof was covered with a supporting grid, new insulation and new single skin plastisol coated steel sheeting.
New white tinted rooflights were fitted above the original rooflights. These will help to reduce solar gain within the offices
The roof was finished with new plastisol coated steel flashings.
In addition, we cleaned down and repainted the barrel edge of the roof as well as the gutters and flashings to the front and rear of the building.
