In January 2022 we carried out some gutter work on a hanger roof in Biggin Hill, Kent.
The valley gutter had overflowed a few times in heavy rain.
To help combat this we opened up the end of the gutters to reduce the risk of the gutters overflowing.
To one end we fitted an overflow outlet where the water will only run out when the water level reaches a certain height.
To the other end, we fitted a hopper box and new downpipes to take the water across the building to disperse into the ground to the side.
