Commercial & Industrial Pitched Roofing
Solutions can vary depending on the severity of the problem. Random repairs, such as simple sheet replacement, overlay sheet or the installation of new flashing may be adequate to resolve minor issues.
Replacing the roof lights may also be an option to cure leaks in these areas. Where problems are more severe a complete new roof consisting of either and over-roofing system or a total replacement option will ensure long term peace of mind.
The advantage of over roofing is that the original roof remains in place to provide weather protection, whilst a proprietary grid system is installed to support the new sheeting. Disruption to the day to day running of your business is minimal compared to a strip and re-sheet.
Over-Roofing also provides an ideal opportunity to incorporate additional insulation, thereby reducing heat loss and solar gain through the roof.
We recommend that existing rooflights are replaced prior to the over roof to maximise natural daylight within the building.
When a new roof is required Composite panels comprising of two skins of steel but with rigid polyurethane insulation factory bonded to the steel faces can be installed.
With its high performance, versatility, and speed of installation, the composite panel is regarded as a superior product to the built up system, but at a slightly increased cost.
One advantage of a new composite roof is the internal aspect of the building is enhanced.
We are approved installers of Kingspan panels.
